Hoover Reservoir is located in the northeast corner of Franklin Co. and the southeast corner of Delaware Co.

I just got a call from Jason Simonis. He has relocated the Buff-breasted that was first reported yesterday. He parked on the east side of the reservoir by the yacht club entrance (do not block the gate) and walked north a bit on the old road and then west to Pelican Island (not an island this time of year) and then headed north along the shore line. I'm not just sure how far north he went, but look in the very short grassy fields for the Buff-breasted. He also has a Black-bellied Plover and a Short-billed Dowitcher amongst the other usual suspects.

As was mentioned yesterday this habitat (the short vegetation) is perfect for Buff-breasted Sandpipers. They like to hang out with all of the Killdeer on this vegetation.
