The rundown from yesterday 8/9/12 at Conneaut harbor, from 7 AM - early afternoon:  35+ double-crested cormorants, bald eagle, a flyby calling Am. golden-plover, 2 semipalmated plovers, killdeer, 4 lesser yellowlegs, the juv. marbled godwit, 5 semipalmated sandpipers, 8 least sandpipers, 11 Bonaparte's gulls, 2 great black-backed gulls, 5 Caspian terns, a flock of 15 common/5 Forster's terns, belted kingfisher, 50+ bank swallows, and barn swallows.  On 8/8/12 a juv. sharp-shinned hawk made an appearance in my back yard.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
