It is presently 10:40 AM, the Marbled Godwit and Willet are still hanging out together, and appear to be enjoying themselves. New arrivals to The Sandspit are a single Black-bellied Plover, 2 Sanderlings, 2 Greater Yellowlegs, 3 Pectoral Sandpipers, 4 Killdeer, 6 Semipalmated Sandpipers, 1 Spotted Sandpiper, and the previously reported Baird's Sandpiper, Semipalmated Plovers, and Least Sandpipers. Some of the other highlights are 15 Bald Eagles, a Peregrine Falcon, 2 Bonaparte's Gulls, an adult Great Black-backed Gull, a young Hooded Merganser, and plenty of Bank and Barn Swallows.
