Cindy Ploch and I drive up to see the m. godwit today.
It was very cooperative.  We stayed in the car and got within 10 feet of it
and was able to closely watch it feed, etc.
There was also
black tern
pied bill grebe
spotted sandpipers
and other common birds
We did not see the black-back gull or little blue herons.
