Ray, It is a young mourning warbler. I saw one today along the lake. The incomplete eye ring and the bill shape are pretty good features to look for/

> I had a surprise visit this morning. My first impression was orange-crowned warbler, but it seemed a little big, as big or slightly larger than the carolina wren that hangs out here. And the beak seemed big, like a juveniles. And isn't it too early ? But no way was this bird as large as a tanager.
