The Ohio Bird Banding Association will be holding its fall
Hello all,

The Ohio Bird Banding Association will be holding its fall meeting August 25 at Lowe-Volk Park in Crawford Co., near Crestline. We will be banding birds in the morning, 7-11 a.m., hoping for some early migrants as well as local resident species. Any of you birders in the area who would like to see some birds in the hand are very welcome, there is no charge.

In the afternoon we'll have speakers, including Mark Shieldcastle of Black Swamp Bird Observatory. You're welcome to be there for that as well. But if you want to eat our food, you'll have to pay!

More information, including how to register, is available here:

Regards and good birding,
Bob Scott Placier

taming and simplification of Earth's ecosystems which, if
carefully tended, might yet produce intelligent life."
