Like the Ferruginous Hawks that were not in Ohio but close enough to
attract the interest of Ohio birders, a pair of Swallow-tailed Kites have
been seen for the past few days off KY 18 in Belleview Kentucky. Only a
few miles from the I-275 bridge at Lawrenceburg Indiana.Fewer than 10
sightings in 30 years on the Cincinnati Bird Club data base, most in
nearby surrounding Indiana and Kentucky. Images and video at
http://www.flickr.com/nsxbirder and a Google Map attached to each image.
Also, several recent postings on Cincinnati Birds with directions.
