I took a walk this morning checking out the SE corner of the Deer Creek wetlands (Pickaway Co.). There are no mowed paths anywhere there this year, but bushwhacking isn't bad right now.

Sparrows present there this morning included :

Field Sparrows
Savannah Sparrows (abundant)
Henslow's Sparrow (1 young bird in very fresh adult plumage in cattails)
2 Nelson's Sparrows
Song Sparrows
~8 Lincoln's Sparrows
Swamp Sparrow (only one seen so far)

Also of note in the same area was a wandering flock of ~25 Bobolinks.
