I saw quite a few migrants around our property in Union County today, over 40 bird species so far this morning. I also found a new species for our property (#129), but I'm looking for some outside input on the identification of this young hawk. I have an opinion based on what I saw in the field and the pictures, but I would very much like to hear other views. There are three relatively good digi-binned pictures here:
