               Lots of changes going on at ONE from moving birds out to the
center, to the new lease that the park district wants us to sign, not enough
volunteers and  to being very short on funds. I am a firm believer that two
heads or in this case 20+ heads are better than one. 

 

               Therefore, I am calling a mandatory meeting so that we can
all touch base on how we provide  animal care, what this new lease means to
all of us, and how we move forward in keeping ONE solvent. And I’m not
exaggerating when I say we are on a precipice! 

 

               The meeting is set for  Sunday September 30th from 2-6. Let’s
all plan to pitch in $5 or so to purchase pizza from Michael’s Pizzeria.

 

               I need an rsvp from ALL of you. 

 

               To Kevin & Tom Esh, we can work something out for animal care
on Riley Rd so that you too can attend this meeting!

 

               Proposed lease is attached. They would like this lease in
place by 1/2013 though we still have 3 & ½ years left on our current lease.
We will not be allowed to move forward on additional building projects
without a new lease.
