I stopped by the harbor area around 11:30 or so. I had a single first cycle
Franklin's gull and an adult lesser black-backed gull. They were both on
the sandbar at the west end of the Hot Waters area. I stopped back around
4:30 or so. There were a lot more gulls everywhere in the harbor, but I did
not see anything other than herring and ring-billed. There was a golden
plover in the grass west of the river mouth. It also was gone at 4:30.
