Sorry for the delay in reporting this, but 3 dark ibis spp were seen in the Toussaint River on St Rt. 19, southeast of Ottawa NWR. These were reported at 1 pm today.

Jason Lewis, Refuge Manager saw these today and reported them. I will not leave my cell phone in my car tomorrow.

The refuge auto tour is open again tomorrow, from 8 am- 4 pm. There is a guided walk at Magee Marsh at 8 am. And lots of fun bird themed family activities also.

Three ibis were photographed in flight at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge today, headed towards the Crane Creek estuary mouth around noon. No other details. A single photo can be found on the Birding Ohio Facebook page.
