Larry Jeanblanc, Julie Karlson and I visited the beach at Buck Creek State
Park Sunday morning. We found a Sanderling, a Western Sandpiper, and then
about 31 Franklin's Gulls flew in and landed with the Ring-billed Gulls.

Later we walked some of the trails which took us near the white pines along
Grant Road on the east side of the park and counted about 20 Red-breasted
Nuthatches.
