I stopped at the Magee Marsh area yesterday around lunchtime for about an
hour or so. I was hoping to spot some shorebirds at the Crane Creek
Estuary, but forgot my scope (argh!). It was pleasantly songbirdy on the
walk between the boardwalk parking lot and the estuary. Quite a few flocks
of warblers and a handful of "winter" birds.

warblers:
Blackpoll
Yellow-rumped
Chestnut-sided
Pine
Bay-breasted
Black-throated Blue
Black-throated Green
Tennessee
Cape May
Common Yellowthroat
Orange-crowned
(I suspect there were others that I didn't see, and I bet the boardwalk
would have been good, but I ran out of time - how did I miss Magnolias and
redstarts?)

Other highlights were:
Philadelphia Vireo, first-of-season Ruby- and Golden-crowned Kinglets,
Dark-eyed Junco, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, and a handful of others

Happy birding!
