The last nestling fledged 09/05/2012 at 8:20 AM. It gave no indication of leaving before suddenly taking flight. It perched in the nest tree about 10 feet from the nest, stayed about 15 min., and then flew out of sight. During the time the fledgling was perched, the adult returned to the nest twice. It was chirping while in the vicinity of the nest, but made no attempt to locate the fledgling other than in the immediate vicinity of the nest. The flight path of the adult should have put in visual range of the fledgling, but the fledgling made no attempt, either visually or audibly (that I could hear), to attract the attention of the adult.
The other nestling disappeared sometime between Sunday evening (09/02) and Monday morning before 8:30 AM.
Additional videos will be posted within the next week or so, and will show some interesting interactions.

Regards,
Tom
