I watched the lake a little this morning from my North Perry yard. There
were numerous Caspian terns heading by fairly close to shore. There was a
large group of gulls pretty far out. Occasionally the gulls would flare up
and you could see a jaeger going through them. On one occasion there were
two birds. I am guessing at least one of the birds was hanging out as the
gulls would occasionally get spooked. The jaegers were so far out that
specific identification was not possible. Only other bird of note was a
single Bonaparte's gull.
