Zoar Wetlands (Tuscarawas County) Sunday had the following: 2 gadwall, 14
green-winged teal, 8 mallard, 2 great egrets, 3 great blue herons, 10
killdeer, and 8 greater yellowlegs. Today the killdeer and yellowlegs
remained but only 2 greenwings.
A stop at Atwood Lake today showed a lot more variety: Canada goose,
mallard, 70 double-crested cormorants, 2 pied-billed grebes, 6 common loons,
12 lesser scaup, and an estimated 200 ruddy ducks and 80 - 100 buffleheads.
