This morning I found 1 Le Conte's Sparrow in the same area where Bob Royse saw them before (south part of wetland). Also, I observed a group of 3 very vocal Sedge Wrens in a field. It is quite a challenge to walk through that area, but I was rewarded with theese birds.
On another note, I also found a full body of deer with freshly cut off tail not far from the fence between WA and New Holland residential area. I know, it is a hunting season, and I heard a lot of gun shooting around. And I still have a question -- Is it hunting always so senseless?
