Taking my usual Sunday morning tour, I started with the Fish Hatchery, Harmons,Club Island BE nest, AquaView nest, It's It and the Mercer Wildlife Area followed byWestbank Park, Lake Shore Drive, and Andersons. Nothing "special" turned up!But the following:CAGO 500-600 scattered in the "safe spots" around.White tail 3 at MWAMallards 100++Killdeer 100++Wilsons Snipe 7 (SMFH)GBH (great blue herons) Old Man of the Lake: found 6Gulls, RB 200Herring Gulls Only ONE! Usually 4-5DCC Double Crested Cormorant saw ONLY ONE!! (Too many)IM BE Saw 3, No adults! Nest at Club Island is intact. Leavesstill cover AquaView and the MWA nest is down. Not a very good list - but --- that's what you get today! A shout-out to Tom & Jackie Bain! Nice to meet you two. Hope to seeyou again travelling around our great State!!
