A while back someone asked about the disappearance of the woodpeckers at their feeders. I also notices that I had none showing at my feeders. Today is the first time that I have had more than one Downy at the feeders, but this has been a banner day for them. I’ve had Red Bellies, lots of Downys, and even a Hairy showed up. I’ve heard the Pileated, but have not seen them at the feeders, which seems to be typical with the leaves still on the trees.
