There was a nice movement of songbirds along the lake this morning in my
North Perry yard. Of note were the winter finches. There was a group of 6
RED CROSSBILLS that passed by. They unfortunately did not stop. There was
a great movement of pine siskins. I counted in excess of 300 birds passing
by in flocks ranging between 8 and 60 birds. There was probably a lot more
than 300 as I had a couple flocks come in from the south to my feeders. One
group was about 60 birds. It hung around for quite some time.

Kinglets were the dominant migrants with only scattered yellow-rumped
warblers and a single pine warbler.
