The Toro outdoor equipment equipment company opened the roof doors on it's 12
acre junco hatchery this week in Bloomington Minn. The tiny dark Grey and white
birds will track along the shorelines of the Great Lakes. Soon everyone will
be scared silly about the coming snow .Snowbird conditioning will peak earlier
this year. I mostly think of Juncos the week Trick or Treaters arrive. Convoys
of semi trucks filled with bright red snow blowers will soon be moving out.We
got our first trio of them today at Bradstreet's Landing in Rocky River. The
Airens Company in Wisconsin will open their Snow Bunting facility early next
month. Migration smigration. These cute little beasts do not come from the
enchanted boreal forests in the North.

Good sightings
