I went down to Evans L. in Mahoning Co. this morning.  I didn't have any luck finding a Franklin's or lesser black-backed gull, but I did see some interesting birds including:  Am. wigeon, n. pintails, green-winged teal, ruddy ducks, pied-billed grebes, double-crested cormorant, great blue herons, Am. coots, killdeers, lesser yellowlegs, belted kingfishers, golden-crowned kinglet, e. bluebirds, Am. robins, chipping sparrows, song sparrow, white-throated sparrow, and dark-eyed juncos.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
