Good day at Mosquito Lake. The Grebe was seen between 10:00-10:30AM at the same location as previously described. At first it was further out but cooperated and moved closer for nice scope views. Many thanks to Larry for a great bird! Birds also seen at this location:
Common Loon-1
Ruddy Ducks-6
Ring-necked Duck-1
Bald Eagle-2

On the west end of the causeway ( Rt.88 ) on the north side by a sandbar there was a Red Knot feeding among some Ring-billed Gulls. Other birds:
Ruddy Duck-30
Mute Swans-2
Coots-6
Ring-necked Duck-1
On Hoagland-Blackstub Rd., just down fron parking Lot 13, the first crossroad going south, turn left going towards the lake. There were 25 Greater Yellowlegs. Duck hunters present so not any waterfowl but some great bear stories to be heard!

Sally Isacco, Concord Twp.
