We know Cormorants very well, we saw none there. It is possible that we mistook the 2 Red Necked & that they were Horned. There was no doubt about the Western.

Birders seeking the 1 Western and 2 Red-necked Grebes reported from Haul Rd last evening are advised that there were 1 Horned Grebe and 2 Double-crested Cormorants present yesterday in the left (west) pond.
Be sure to rule out the latter, more common species with care.
