John Habig and I saw a falcon carrying a gull at Ferguson Reservoir in Lima today. We called it a Prairie based on the light color and the facial markings. Looking at the images now I’m not so sure since it lacks the light eyebrow, though I can’t find images of juvenile Peregrines that are as light as this bird. I’d appreciate more experienced eyes looking at this – thanks!

Also, there were two Surf and one Black Scoter with about 1500 other ducks on Metzger Reservoir.
