The new Ohio eBird Hot Spot web site is now ready to be used.
http://ohioebirdhotspots.wikispaces.com/

This web site provides descriptions and maps of over 1,200 eBird Hot Spots
in Ohio. In eBird, Hot Spots are shared locations where birders may report
their bird sightings to eBird. These Hot Spots provide birders with
information about birding locations where birds are being seen.

The Hot Spots are organized by county. On each county page there is a link
to the eBird Bar Chart, listing the the birds which have been reported to
eBird in the county.

It is my hope that this web site will encourage birders to visit locations
close to home and report sightings to eBird. Many of the lesser visited
locations in this web site have only a few checklists submitted.

Check the county list for the county in which you live. If you have "tips"
for how to bird any site, I would be glad to add them to the description of
the location. Also please let me know if you note any typos!

We are adding 10-30 new eBird Hot Spots per month and I will be adding new
hot spots to this web site as they become active.

eBird Hot Spot reviewer for Ohio
