This afternoon was a great day for our yard here in North Canton (Stark County) as I saw three birds
we'd never had before. There was a golden-crowned kinglet, a brown creeper, and a blue-headed
vireo with its white "spectacles" clearly visible outside our back window. Add in a red-breasted
nuthatch, which we've been seeing regularly for the last couple of weeks, a white-throated sparrow,
and a small flock of dark-eyed junco, and there was a nice variety throughout the afternoon.
