Jeff Harvey is presently, 9:30AM Wednesday, at The Conneaut Sandspit. The sun is actually trying to shine, but it is still windy. Brant are at three different locations, 18 in the marina basin, and two groups of 62 and 15 are resting on the sandspit. A single Snow Goose is hanging out with the Brant and Canada Geese at the marina behind the closed restaurant. 4 Snow Buntings, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, and 24 Dunlin are also at the sandspit. The past productive sedge area at the back of the sandspit is once again full of water. The only negative to the visit is that the gate is closed, requiring a walk out to the sandspit.
