I was joined by Jim McCormac this morning. It was actually pretty calm at
the start of the day with a little drizzle early. As a result there were a
lot fewer birds moving today. There were still a lot of great birds. Any
other year this would have a great day with 119 brant 3 harlequin ducks, 2
white-winged scoters, 32 black scoters, and 2 long-tailed ducks. After 930
it started to drizzle and it got a little misty making it hard to see far
out. A little after that the wind switched direction and it got breezy.
Things picked up slightly after that, but with the rain and mist we decided
to head east.
