What a big difference from what was reported yesterday. Yesterday reports
at Rocky river and Presque Isle reported large numbers of waterfowl. Today
the only ones I saw were 10 Canada geese. There was a red-throated loon
out sitting on the lake. It appeared that it may have been a winter
plumaged adult bird. Unfortunately it kept diving and rapidly went out of
site to the west. There was a good movement of Bonaparte's gulls. They
started around 9:00 and were heading east. I was able to pick two adult
little gulls out of the flocks.
