I apologize for the late post. I went birding at Mary Rutan Park and
Bellefontaine Cemetery (literally across the street from the park) on 10/16
and saw a flock of Pine Siskin's and what we've identified as a
single Merlin (either a female or juvenile). I've posted photos on
Flicker: http://www.flickr.com/photos/87869130@N04/
Siskin's were found at the park and the Merlin at the cemetery. I also saw
a Red Breasted Nuthatch at the park. This is the first time I've ever
birded at either location, but I plan to return based on my experience.

Recent birding trips to Old Field Beach, Indian Lake, Logan Co. on 10/10
&10/14 yielded the following:

Woods/Thickets:
- Yellow Rump Warblers (Lots)
- Black Throated Blue Warblers (2 Males)
- Catbird
- Golden Crowned Kinglets (2) - 1st of the year
- Ruby Crowned Kinglets (2)
- White Thoated Sparrow

Beach:
- Franklin Gulls (3)
- Ring Bill Gulls (Lots)
- Herring Gull (1)
