Fellow east-side birders may recall the Peregrines that nested on the Tower East building at the mega-intersection of Chagrin, Van Aken, Warrensville, etc. The birds were scared off the building when giant cranes were used to do some kind of work on the roof.

Today, for the first time in months, I can report (happily) that at least one falcon has returned. Its mate may be around but I don't see it yet. As I write this, the one bird is perched on the northeast corner of the building watching the traffic on Chagrin.
