my #1 reason i like listserve is that wheni am in the field i get an "alert sound" everytime i get an e-mail. i will give a quick peek tosee who it is from and decide if i want to investigate it.i do LOVE the various FB birding chapters, but iseldom can react quicly to them. whsn birding iwill check facebook occasionally during down time.i will continue to use both, but for reading and posting announcementsto the masses to get people info quickly i start on the listserve. buster
