Please join us as member or a welcomed guest to hear Ben Warner, one of
Ohio's top tier birders, teach us how he has excelled in the number two
hobby of the country. Then prepare to practice some of his tips out in the
field. Hope to see you there!

The Delaware County Bird Club meetings and program presentations take
place on the fourth Monday of each month, September through April, except in
November and December when they are sometimes held earlier in the month to
accommodate the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays. Please join us in the
City of Delaware at the Ohio Wesleyan University, Schimmel- Conrades Science
Center, Room 163 on the lower level of the building. Conversation and
refreshments begin at 7:00 PM; the meeting and program starts at 7:30 PM.
Parking is available next to the Selby Stadium on the east side of Henry
Street and in the lot south of the Science Center next to Branch Rickey
Arena.

November 26th: Be the Bird - How to Become a Better Birder - Ben Warner,
Ohio Breeding Bird Atlas

Ben goes into detail on the tips of the trade that will up your game as
you seek to be more assured of yourself as a birder. Ben has birded
obsessively around in his backyard, the county, Ohio and farther afield. He
has worked several seasons for the Ohio Breeding Bird Atlas, and moderates
several birding websites on Bird ID. Topics covered will include equipment,
field guides, learning bird sounds, field techniques, eBird, and beyond.
