Since the storm we've hosted ~25 chipping sparrows.  Although we have a few
pairs/families of "chippies" during the breeding season, they usually
disappear in August/September, as they did this year.

We have a flock of them now (a migrants flock?).  One song sparrow also
came to feed.

We finally saw a red-breasted nuthatch here and are still waiting
impatiently for pine siskins. . . .
