These are terrible digiscope pictures from noon today at LaDue.

I only post them because some people were hoping for close enough views to
rule out Clark's Grebe.  From my Sibley and Audubon guides I would say this
is Western and not Clark's but I will leave it to those more experienced
than me.  The pictures may not be good enough to say yes or no.



The goose with the white neck and head was interesting and I thought someone
might suggest how this coloration might have come to be.  It was feeding in
the middle of a group of about 25 Canada Geese.



Nice to see so many  birding friends along Valley Road today!  Hope all of
us can do a little birding on Sunday.
