My dog and I were walking this evening down from the parking lot at the top of the Walk-Jog Trail. A dark falcon flew overhead and landed in a tree across the road, sat there for a bit and flew off. Walking Riley I don't carry binocs. The sun was coming out at about that time--I had a good look at the striped tail, which looked like a Merlin rather than a Peregrine. Has anyone seen either one there?
