100-200 swans on Geauga Park District's Bass Lake this morning according to observer/resident Chris Parker. I arrived at Bass Lake just after 5:00 pm to find no swans on the water, but a flight of 150+ passing by overhead heading east. Ah, that flight call! Best description of that primal sound came from 3rd graders as we witnessed an overflight: war whoops of an Indian war party in an old Hollywood Western.
