Seneca
I birded with Ed and Robert Schlabach yesterday. Highlights:

Seneca Lake - 1 Red Phalarope, 10 Common Loons, 2 Horned Grebes, 12 Wood Ducks, 100-200 diving ducks, mostly Lesser Scaup, Ruddies, Bufflehead, Hooded Mergansers, 1 Dunlin, 4 Tree Swallows, Purple Finch, Pine Siskins, many Cedar Waxwings

Mosquito Lake - 20 Snow Buntings, 3 Black Scoters, including 1 adult male,  2 Surf Scoters, including 1 adult male, plus 800-1000 ducks including 300+ Pintails, other dabblers; rafts of Ruddy Ducks, all 3 mergansers and other divers. 20+ Common Loons, 10 Horned Grebes, 50+ Pied-billed Grebes - missed the Western Grebe (we got there just before dark). Flock of 100+ flying shorebirds - probably Dunlin.

Fairport Harbor - 65 Brant, 1 Long-tailed Duck, 30 Surf Scoters, 2 White-winged Scoters, 1 or 2 Purple Sandpipers (2 sightings), Golden-crowned Kinglets
