I finally got my feeders on South Bass Island back up yesterday and as soon as
I did it was visited by a pine siskin among all the usual visitors!
Have been keeping a watch out for unusual waterfowl during the storm and just
after. Only had double-crested cormorants, bufflehead, lesser scaup, two
redheads, and mallards. Lots of Bonaparte gulls, herring, ring-billed, and a
few greater black-backed gulls but nothing out of the ordinary.
The juncoes have showed up in force after the storm.
