As of noon, tundra swan numbers had swelled to about 650 (!) with some coming and going. Also on Bass Lake at noon were: 80+ ruddy ducks, about 30 ring-necked ducks, 40+ scaup, 3 bufflehead, 40+ hooded mergansers, 12+ mallards, 10+ pied-billed grebes, 1 common loon and the resident pair of bald eagles.
