In regards to the report of the Great White-fronted Goose at Hoover Reservoir, I wanted to mention that my wife and I spotted a Greylag mutt earlier this week. This bird was hanging out with a couple of Canada Geese near Oxbow Rd. It may be possible, and more likely, that the GWFG reported on the 31st may indeed be this Greylag mutt, as they do resemble each other, to some degree, at a distance. Just something to consider for those who may want to chase the bird around the reservoir. Happy birding.
