All,

It was a busy morning today!  We had a crowd of folks already here when Allen Chartier and his wife arrived to ID and band the hummingbird that has been frequenting our feeder.  Allen did a fast and efficient job of capturing, banding, measuring and assessing the bird, confirming it was an adult female Rufous Hummingbird. She was captured and released in less than ten minutes.  Sean Williams was even able to locate the bird as she roosted in a bush in the  backyard!
