Thanks to Shane Roberts for his help on the Bird Count today. Our next Bird Count will be December 18th beginning at the Bird Center at 8 am. Come join us and see what winter birds are about......................

Today we say or heard the following species:
Great Blue Heron, Tundra Swans, Canada Goose, Mallard, Gadwall, Hooded Merganser, Red-tailed hawk, Bald Eagle, N. Harrier, Herring Gull, Ring-billed gull, Bonaparte's gull, Mourning Dove, N. Flicker, Hairy Woodpecker, Downy Woodpecker, Black-capped Chickadee, White-breasted nuthatch, Red-breasted nuthatch, Brown Creeper, Winter Wren, A. Robin, Hermit Thrush, GC Kinglet, Yellow-rumped warbler, Rusty Blackbird, N. Cardinal, Junco, A. Tree Sparrow, House Finch, A. Goldfinch, House Sparrow.

Our annual Holiday Open House is Sunday December 2 from noon until 5 pm.   Come out for a great afternoon, good food, live music, kids' activities and holiday shopping.
