I made a brief foray to Clear Creek to see if I might be lucky enuf to find a roosting Saw-whet Owl or even some crossbills but to no avail. V quiet bird wise but I saw 2 Black Vultures as I was leaving Lancaster & when I left Clear Creek, 4 more were perched atop the cell tower at the Rt 33 turn-off with another coming in. Perhaps a roost?

Don't know if BVs r common this time of yr but thought I would report it.
