Allen Chartier and Nancy, his wife, arrived in Circleville (Pickaway County)
around 1:30. My hummer was not as cooperative and was not banded until
4:00pm (she disappeared for a couple of hours and reappeared just as we were
making plans for them to come back to try again tomorrow). She also is an
immature female Rufous. Allen said that made his 13th for this fall and a
new personal record of three rufous hummingbirds banded in one day.

Allen Chartier & his wife stopped by around noon & were able to band &
identify the hummer at my feeder as a female immature Rufous. We could hear
her vocalizing in the large spruce tree near the feeder after her release.

Will keep you posted-

Denise
