I haven't been walking on my breaks at work so I decided to walk over to the area where I found Redpolls with Goldfinch when it was snowing a year or so ago. So I walked up to the area and saw two Common Redpolls on the ground near some bushes/trees and they flew up to a tree as I approached and there were about 30. Then a raptor flew over and as they flew off some more joined them and there were about 35.

I work off of Galaxy Parkway which runs north off of Miles Rd (just west of Richmond Rd. These birds were near the grassy strip that runs along the eastern part of the buildings which has pine trees and bushes. They were east of the first bldg in the complex but a little near the 2nd bldg. I think they were lower to the ground today. But it really is the same general area I have seen them before. There are many conifers that can be seen from the Get Go gas station on the northwest corner of Miles & Richmond so that probably has something to do with it.
