Just as an update to the Common Redpolls in Warrensville Hts on the southeast side near 422/271/480 on my previous post this morning. (Sorry, I know this isn't rare). I went out on my lunch break and refound the birds at 12:45pm. This time they were just east of the bldgs #2 & #3 that are north of Miles Rd. The people that live on Richmond Rd north of the Get Go have very long backyards that meet up with the area east of the office bldgs off of Galaxy Pkwy. Besides grassy backyards they have some type of deciduous trees with no leaves that they were flying to back and forth. Only a few times did I see them in any of the conifers. There is a large group of conifers east of Bldg #1 & Bldg #2 though. At one point they were in a tree right next to the parking lot near me and every one was a Redpoll and 35 seem to be pretty acccurte. (No Goldfinch were with them) They would take off each time making a da da da call in unison. They were so much
easier to see in a tree with no leaves.
