Hi folks,

I thought I'd add to the flurry of postings on upcoming CBCs.

The Greene County count will take place on December 29th this year.  This
is only the third year for our formal count, so we're particular eager to
build the ranks of able spotters.

The count territory includes Glen Helen, plus John Bryan State Park,
Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve, and several county parks, including
Narrows, Creekside, and Indian Mound Reserve.  The Little Miami River
bisects the count circle.

In 2010, we found 5926 individuals representing 51 species
In 2011, we found 2607 individuals representing 47 species

Everyone who has participated reports that it was the best time they ever
had.  Ever.

If you'd like to join us, please RSVP to me.

Participants will convene at Trailside Museum (505 Corry Street in Yellow
Springs) at 8am; tally rally is scheduled for 2pm.
